Terms of Use

1. About us

These terms govern your use of lendinglink.co.uk (the "Site"), which is operated by Lending Link Ltd (company number [TBC], registered office [TBC]) ("Lending Link", "we", "us").

By using the Site or submitting a funding enquiry, you accept these terms.

2. We are an introducer, not a lender

Lending Link is an introducer. We connect businesses seeking finance with third-party funding partners (lenders and brokers). We do not lend money, hold client money, or enter into credit agreements. Any agreement to provide finance is made directly between you and the funding partner, on their terms.

FCA status: Lending Link is not currently authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Depending on how our service operates, credit-brokering activity may be a regulated activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 that requires FCA authorisation or an applicable exemption. We are reviewing our position. Until our FCA status is confirmed, this Site should not be relied upon as an active regulated credit-brokering service.

3. Your enquiry is not an application

Submitting an enquiry through the eligibility form does not constitute an application for credit and does not guarantee that any partner will offer finance. Any offer of finance is subject to the relevant partner's own eligibility, affordability and credit checks. Finance is not guaranteed.

4. Credit checks

Lending Link does not run a hard credit search when you submit an enquiry. If you choose to proceed with a funding partner, that partner may carry out soft or hard credit checks as part of their assessment. You should check the partner's terms and credit-reference arrangements before proceeding.

5. Commission and referral fees

We are a commercial introducer. Where an enquiry leads to you proceeding with a funding partner, we may receive a commission or referral fee from that partner. The amount varies and is agreed between us and the partner. We will tell you about any commission arrangement if you ask. See our Affiliate disclosure for more detail.

6. No financial advice

Information on the Site is general in nature and is provided for information only. It does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and no adviser-client relationship is created by your use of the Site. You should seek independent professional advice before making any decision about business finance. Different funding products carry different risks and costs.

7. Third-party partners and links

Funding partners and any third-party sites linked from the Site are independent of Lending Link. We are not responsible for their products, services, terms, conduct, or the accuracy of their information. Any contract you enter with a partner is governed by that partner's terms.

8. Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or free from error, and we may change or remove content at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Site.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to submit false, misleading, or unlawful information, or to attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems.

10. Intellectual property

The Site's content, branding, and design are owned by or licensed to Lending Link and may not be copied or reproduced without our prior written consent, except to the extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lending Link excludes liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version date above indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with them is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. See our Complaints page for how to raise a concern informally first.
